Budapest Airport CFO and Deputy CEO Chris Dinsdale has risen to CEO.
Budapest Airport (BUD) has announced the appointment of Chris Dinsdale as Chief Executive Officer.
Dinsdale, CFO and Deputy CEO of BUD since 2015, has taken over the CEO post from Rolf Schnitzler.
As a highly experienced airport manager with a deep understanding of BUDâs operations, Dinsdale was formerly the Managing Director of BUDâs aviation fuel subsidiary AFS Ltd.
His resume also includes spells at Wildhorse Energy and KPMG Hungary where he occupied senior positions.
Schnitzler assumed the position of BUD CEO from August 2019 after the departure of Jost Lammers, who currently serves as ACI Europe President.

Roadways leading into and out of Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International shut down for nearly six hours this morning after reports of suspicious wires found in a car. Broward Sheriff s Office Spokesman Carey Codd says the driver saw smoke coming out of his hood and pulled into the upper level of the airport. Investigators checked it out determining it was just car troubles and nothing more. Parts of Terminals 2 and 3 were evacuated, planes were delayed stuck on the tarmac until 7 this morning when the all-clear was given.

Staff already took part in industrial action last Sunday, resulting in services to and from Aberdeen being cancelled.
Mick Cash, RMT general secretary, said: I have no doubt that our ScotRail members will continue to show full support and stand shoulder to shoulder during the days of industrial action exactly as they did last Sunday.
